you cannot go wrong with swissgear bags. I did lot of research looking for a bag with laptop compartment and finally settled on this one. It is amazing bag, lots and lots of compartments and little details like pen pockets and mp3 pockets and well padded laptop compartment. lots of space. i was surprised at all i could pack in it. and strong durable construction.
I put in a 15.4 inch sony viao laptop in it and it did fit snuggly but easily without pushing. i wouldnt recommend trying a 17 inch though.
